Kumano Kodo

Kumano sits in the deep forests abundant with pure water. Nature worship gave origin to religious faith and eventually led to the sacred trails. These pilgrimage routes are called Kumano Kodo, which is registered to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. Suzumon, having shaped its history here in Kumano, named its carefully brewed sake “Kumano Kodo” in respect for the gods residing in our forests.
